Hello, I’m Nicole.

I am a Lake Nona, FL based Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist, serving the pediatric population. My passion is to help children find their mode of communication and guide their parents to assist them in their everyday lives. Being a mom of two girls, I know first-hand the importance of having the correct tools to better support them.

Florece means bloom.

Throughout my career as an SLP, I have evaluated and treated children with diverse diagnoses. The name Florece was chosen because we all bloom at different times and seasons, some quicker than others and some later than others. No matter how long it takes us, we will all bloom in our own time.

I want to support you and your child throughout their journey.

To me, family-centered care is a top priority because no one knows a child like the parents. My emphasis is to work alongside your family and support your child’s development in their natural environment.

With a focus on the root cause of your child’s challenges, I look to provide collaborative, holistic therapy services to overcome them. If needed, referrals to other medical specialties will be recommended to ensure the best outcome.

My main goal is to offer your child a genuine connection over compliance. The sessions are composed of Play-Based Learning and a Child-Led Approach to allow authentic connections.

Why Play-Based Learning/ Child-Led Approach?

Play-based learning is adult-guided; the middle ground between free play and direct instruction. It encourages children to learn naturally through discovery and exploration.

Child-Led approach is when the therapist is not directing or choosing what to do or play with during our sessions. But making things available using what they love and following their lead.

Toys, games, and activities will be used to engage with your child and focus on their strengths/interests while working through their communication goals.

What parents/caregivers are saying:

"My experience with Nicole has been excellent!! She is a very professional therapist in her area of work, and she not only focuses on language but also on trying to find the underlying problem. In my case, I have a 4-year-old boy with speech and language delay and thanks to Nicole's recommendations in our therapies, they served as support to seek more information with other specialists such as a neuropediatrician and an audiologist in order to have a more complete study of my son's situation. Super recommended from the heart not only for her profession but for her human side and the care and love she puts into her therapy sessions!"

“I am so grateful to Nicole for every therapy my son Liam has received, he has made incredible progress since starting sessions with Nicole. She has experience and a real passion for her work. Her personalized approach and endless patience, made my son feel comfortable and motivated to learn. We not only noticed improvements in his behavior but also in his way of communicating. I recommend Nicole a thousand times to any parent who is looking for a therapist. She not only works with the child, but also educates us and guides us in the best way to understand and help our children.”
