Throughout my career as a bilingual speech-language pathologist, I have had the opportunity to assess and support children with a wide range of communication needs. The name Florece, meaning “to bloom,” was intentionally chosen to reflect a core belief of my practice “every child grows and thrives in their own time”. Development is not linear some children progress quickly, while others take more time, and that’s perfectly natural. With the right support, every child can flourish in their own unique season.

This belief not only shapes how I support the families I work with, but also how I approach my own growth as a professional, a parent, and a person. Just like the children I serve, I remind myself daily that blooming takes time, and every step forward matters. I am here to support and guide your family throughout the journey.

    I focus is on understanding the root causes of your child’s challenges and addressing them through personalized therapy. When necessary, I provide referrals and collaborate with other specialists, to ensure your child receives the most complete and effective support possible.

    I bring services where your child feels safest and most comfortable, whether that's at home, in their daycare or preschool, or through virtual sessions. My one-on-one sessions are designed to fit your family’s needs in a familiar and supportive setting.

    I recognize the importance of cultural and linguistic differences. Honoring traditions and understanding that variations in speech and language should not lead to incorrect diagnoses. My mission is to work with your child and family as one unit to meet therapeutic goals.

FAQ / Frequently Asked Questions

  • If your child has not had an evaluation in the past six months, the recommendation would be to schedule one. Following the evaluation, therapy can be determined whether it is warranted and set up services. If your child has had a speech/language evaluation within the past 6 months, getting you scheduled to begin with direct therapy right away can be done during our 15 minute consultation call.

  • Birth to 22 year old population

  • At this time, services are offered through private pay. A superbill can be provided for families who wish to submit claims to their insurance for potential reimbursement.
    We also accept Step Up for Students scholarships, and our partnership with Thrizer allows many families to use out-of-network benefits and pay only a co-pay.

  • Yes! We are a certified provider for Step up for Students! Please reach out via email hello@florecetherapy.com or the contact information tab and let us know your child receives funding for this scholarship and we can provide more information

  • Please email hello@florecetherapy.com for current speech/language evaluations/treatment rates.

  • Payment is due at the time of service and can be made using cash or credit card. All sales are final.

  • At this moment, services can be provided in-home, daycares or preschools in (Lake Nona and surrounding areas) or via teletherapy to Florida residents.

  • Sessions range from 45 to 60 minutes in length. The duration and frequency depend on each child's age and needs, ranging from 1-2 sessions per week.

  • Yes! It is encouraged. The opportunity to connect with the child's family and integrate them into the session is highly valuable.
